Fleur Dis Leis Farm - Louisville, Kentucky
Hailey & Shay Smolevithe
A Black Tie Miami night club inspired wedding

Some wedding days feel beautiful.
Others feel electric.
Hailey and Shay Smolevithe's wedding day was the latter -
the kind of celebration that lingers with you long after the music fades.
Set at Hailey's mother's private Louisville estate, Fleur Dis Leis Farm, their wedding was a masterful blend of black-tie elegance and Miami night club energy, infused with personal meaning at every turn.
From Nashville to Forever
Hailey and Shay's story began when Hailey moved to Nashville - one of those moments where timing feels almost too intentional to be coincidence. Shay knew immediately. He insisted there would never be anyone else for him, and watching them together on their wedding day, that certainty made complete sense.
Their connection is quiet but powerful, confident yet grounded.
That same energy carried effortlessly into their celebration.
An Estate that set the tone
Fleur Dis Leis Farm is more than a venue - because it wasn't a venue.
Hailey's mom seen this place and turned it into a home.
It's an architectural statement. Originally built mid-century, the home was recently reimagined into a modern masterpiece, seamlessly blending clean lines with deeply personal elements. Ornate photographs of horses and Thorobreds lined the walls - a nod to the family's love of the Kentucky Derby since it did sit quietly in the middle of horse country.
Outside the primary suite stood a life-size sculpture of a horse - both striking and symbolic.
Black tie, Reimagined
The dress code was black tie- clean, elevated, and intentional. Guests arrived in black, creating a striking visual contrast again the soft glow of candlelight and white florals.
And then there was Hailey.
She wore a couture gown that captured light with every movement, its subtle sparkle adding ethereal quality to an already unforgettable presence. Against the sea of black attire, she stood luminous - timeless yet modern, commanding yet graceful.
The courtyard pool served as the centerpiece of the evening, surrounded by candlelit white florals that reflected softly against the water. Even more meaningful? Hailey designed and executed all the decor herself. Every detail carried her touch, her vision, her care - and it showed.
Intimate Ceremony -Unforgettable Energy
Hailey and Shay chose to keep their ceremony intentionally intimate, surrounded only by their closest family and friends. It was emotional, grounded, and sincere -
the kind of ceremony where every guest feels the weight and privilege of witnessing something real...
it was a super fast ceremony, we all giggle about it now but in the 5 minutes we were all gathered to see them say "I Do", it was special.
And then... the shift.
As the ceremony concluded, the energy transformed.
Rolls Royces, BMWs, Mercedes, & Bentleys rolled onto the property, signaling the start of the celebration. The estate became a scene straight out of a Miami nightclub - music pulsing, drinks flowing, friends dancing without hesitation.
Shay's love for music and being behind a DJ booth was seamless woven into the evening. The soundtracks were alive. The dance floor never slowed. The vibe was effortless, magnetic, and undeniably them.
A wedding that felt like art
What made this day extraordinary wasn't just the aesthetic - it was the spirit of it.
The joy was palpable.
The focus never drifted. Every guest felt anchored to Hailey and Shay's love story, no matter where they stood or danced.
Forever one of those days
Hailey and Shay's wedding will forever be ingrained in our hearts. It was a celebration of love, identity, and intention - a wedding that didn't follow trends but instead followed truth and maybe set off a new trend with McDonald's now offering reception meals! Hailey did it first and we will tell everyone that. We loved how Hailey took the utmost care of her guests.
They chose to work with us because they were drawn to our editorial approach - imagery that feels like documentation and more like storytelling.
Hailey loved that the photographs felt reminiscent of Vogue, while Shay appreciated the dynamic between us: Cody's spirited presence balanced Shay's quieter nature, helping him feel confident, grounded, and fully himself throughout the day.
That trust allowed us to create imagery that felt honest, cinematic, and deeply personal.
And this is a wedding day that we will never truly forget.
